Camelback Mountain

The journey was tough, but worth it..

Good view from the top of Echo Canyon.. But got to climb about 1.2 miles up!! The distance may be short, but think about it, under the hot sun...

Okie.. without further delay.. I present the journey at the Camelback Mountain..

It all started early in the morning on the 19/8...



and I'm all ready to conquer the mountain..



Then... the journey began...





Can you see how steep it is?!?!



and I finally reached the 1 mile mark... but there still got some more to go.. Jia you...



Finally... Reached the top.. Yeah Yeah!!



Nice view right?!?



Mission completed.. I had conquered the camelback mountain..



but... not without some consequences... my old SAF shoes..

yes.. sandy..keep laughing...

my old SAF shoes decided to have an early retirement...



So bo bian.. Let's welcome a new recruit into the family...

Vegas & Camelback Mountain

Time to update some of the things that's happening around here... Was away for trips for the last 2 weekends.. Went to climb the Camelback mountain on the 19/8 and Las Vegas on the 26/8.. Both are wonderful trips.. enjoyed myself..

Well.. that was the question I asked a fren of mine few days ago..

She's currently working at Dubai, UAE now... All alone without family and sg frens..

Sometime, I would feel that her blog entries are always filled with emptiness.. loneliness.. deep thoughts..

She replied.. "nothing to do.. think lor.."

Now, I'm starting to have the same mentality as her liao..

But thanks to youtube... I can watch some of it online..

Personal Usage vs Group Usage

How do you define "personal usage"??

Hmmm... For personal use?

Use the items for your personal benefits?

To me.. "personal usage" seems to be in the grey zone of the "group usage"..

If out of your personal benefits, you get everyone to use the items with you, issit "personal usage" or "group usage"? issit "personal benefits" or "group benefits"?

For example, if you know that buying 10 apples is cheaper than buying only 1.. you get 9 other people to buy apples together with you, although you knew that the others don't want to eat apple but dun mind buying it..

Issit personal benefits or group benefits??

Getting everyone to go to the place that YOU want to go is a group activity, whereas others going to places alone is a personal activity..

Using shared item for personal usage got to pay extra while hidden personal agenda usage don't...

pissed with such logic...

convocation 2006!!

Last friday was my convocation!! Finally.. After 4 long long years of hardship, I'm wearing my square hat, with big gown and golden hood...

Daddy and mummy were there to witness this proud moment.. I think they must be tearing when they see me collecting my degree from my school's dean.. *sob sob*




The ceremory was simple, but everyone was too happy to care about it..
