It takes years to build it, but just minutes to destroy it
I was walking back to my hostel from campus when I walked pass this construction site near N3. They are demolishing this building with around 4 workshops and I guess most probably they are building a bigger and better workshops for the MAE students.
This make me start wondering, how long did they take to build the last workshops?
I guess maybe it took them minimum months or even a year to build it... But it just took them just a week to domolish the whole building!!
It's so difficult to build something, but it's so easy to destroy them.
Have you ever tried taking days or months to complete a 1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle, but destroy it in seconds just b'cos it fell onto the floor before you glue the pieces together?
Guess this philosophy is very true and applicable in every part of our life.
Friendship takes time to foster, but yet can easily destroy with just a hurting statement.
Some couples went through difficulty to be together, but broke up just b'cos of a silly misunderstanding.
A doctor who studied so hard to get his medical degree, but was killed instantly in a road accident.
Someone who has been well-respected and well-loved by everyone, but hated by everyone later just b'cos of a stupid mistake he made.
Relationship and life is so fragile, protect it.
In the nutshell: It takes years to build it, but just minutes to destroy it.
